Almost unbelieveable:

I ordered a new laptop screen last Wednesday evening (swiss time). Expected delivery time was about a week later.

However, UPS deposited a notice about a delivery attempt on Friday noon - it took less than >>38 HOURS<< to deliver the screen! (Actually, since I was not at home, they had to come a second time, so it took another day, but that is neither your fault nor that of UPS).

Last week I purchased a replacement screen for my Toshiba P745-S4102.  It arrived on Feb. 11, as stated.  I installed it easily tonight in less than 10 minutes, after watching the customer video you provided (I think I was even faster than the guy in the video).  I have no mechanical skills whatsoever, but I do have good video watching skills and a tiny screwdriver which came in very handy.

Hello I am an amateur tech that works for ******. I typically deal with virus removals and HDD replacements. I see 2-3 customers a day come in to ****** hoping to get there laptop screen fixed. I offer our ****** repair which is a flat-rate $280. I only offer this option because I am supposed to. About 1 in 4 people typically bite the bullet no questions asked. Two will usually just opt for data transfer to a different machine. However sometimes I get a customer that is on a tight budget, can't afford a different machine or simply have a computer that is not even worth half the cost of shipping it to ****** but would really like to get it fixed. At that point I recommend LaptopScreen.com without worry that they will get the screen they needed without paying a fortune. Then if they are not comfortable with installing it I recommend that they bring it back in and I can ring it as a component installation which is only $40. Out of my home I do laptop and desktop repair as well, usually just for friend and family, and sometimes co-workers of my family. I never charge these people for labor. I love working with tech and the expression on people faces when they get their "personal computer" fixed for so cheap is priceless. I just finished replacing an LCD for my cousins Sony VAIO and it only cost us $60. Sony wanted $199 or they wouldn't even look at it.. Needless to say she has been very happy with it and for some reason is convinced it is even better than the LCD she originally had. I assured her it was same spec but she doesn't understand technical details. In a couple weeks I have a friend that is going to be bringing his machine to me for an LCD fix. It is an Apple MacBook Pro 15" and I was able to quote him about $100 for the repair. He was so incredibly relieved because he couldn't find someone that would touch it for less than $300 and he is a student and doesn't have money to blow.
