This screen finally made my laptop whole again!  I had ordered IPS screens hoping to upgrade from TN, but got two defective screens in a row...   Recently I actually destroyed my old TN screen by accident so I took a chance and ordered the same IPS screen I had wanted all along.   It installed in 5 minutes and my laptop looks 1000 times better than ever!  Thanks for that.  :)

Just upgraded my Early 2011 A1286 8,2 Macbook Pro 15" from the standard 1440 x 900 resolution stock glossy LCD to a new High-Res 1680 x 1050 glossy LCD. Found a how-to specific to my model on Youtube and the surgery went well. My Macbook Pro with the new high-rs LCD, along with a speedy new SSD drive from OWC, is like a new laptop for a lot less than a comparable new Retina Macbook Pro; plus I still have all of my legacy slots! The service was flawless. The price was an absolute bargain, the screen arrived next day perfectly packaged, and in pristine condition. We would normally send laptops off to have the screens replaced, because we viewed it as too much hassle. From now on though, we shall be doing these repairs in house. Just received the LCD and replaced my Lenovo Y40-70 old LCD which used to flicker when laptop on battery.
it took only 5 minutes to replace following the video.

Just finished installing a replacement LCD screen for my Dell Latitude E6420 laptop.
