I cannot believe how fast this screen was shipped. I barely had time to use the tracking number before it came to me by international (normal) post. I ordered the tools to accompany the screen.

I ordered a screen replacement.
The screen is new, looks nice and is identical to the original ;
CHIMIE INNOLUX   N173FGE- L23  rev C2.


Installation is easy
When I turn the power on, the screen turns on but stays black. The back ot the panel which is white is lit.
I thought I altered my commputer or Windows, but when I put the old screen in, everythig starts up nicely again. Using a second screen, everything is OK.

Could you help me resolve this matter.
Could the screen not be compatible ? the original is rev C2

I have a screen that just gave up.  I have went to my college IT and my brother in law for help and they could NOT do anything about fixing my laptop which I have only a year.  So I Googled "screen replacements" and the first result is this website and the first thing I saw clicking on this website is that the BBB accredited and all the trusted reviews...So I know that this place is legit.  I searched for my laptop model and there were so many to choose from.  The screen replacements are reasonably priced...cheaper than I expected them to be but the shipping is a little pricy but it includes the insurance so that's a good thing.  But I choose the cheapest method because I'm in NO hurry to get the replacement.  Now (I love the fact that there's youtube videos how to replace the screen myself and the video looks easy and that's what got me to order one.  Plus there's 3 year warranty.  I feel like as soon as I get this delivered and installed...I will have my laptop up and running like a new one.  I cannot wait.  The con about that...that I have no idea what backlight I had but I looked up my comp specs and compared that to what choices I have.  I decided to get the matte screen with the right resolution so I really hope I got the right one!  To me its a cheaper way to get a computer screen repaired!

I replaced the screen for my broken laptop(Inspiron 5323 13z). It worked perfectly fine, correct fit and everything looks like original. Only thing I would suggest is to make sure you would go for Matte or Glossy. I am using my new screen since 2 weeks for now and it is awesome. They shipped my screen very soon than expected. Very happy. Received the screen on time and watched one of your video's and installed it myself! I'm far from a computer repair person and was so excited when I turned on the computer and the screen lit up! I stepped on my laptop and cracked the screen. That's how this whole thing came about. Got a quote to have it fixed "professionally" and decided to just go for it and purchase a screen myself and attempt to install it. It's so great being able to see EVERYTHING I am doing now. I was still using the broken screen in the meantime and I was always just guessing where to click on the screen. lol. Anyway, I'm very happy with the price, the shipping, and the tutorials.
