Shut down the laptop

This is a guide on replacing a touch LCD on a Dell Inspiron 15 inch model5575. To begin press and hold
the power button to turn off the laptop and disconnect the power cord

Remove the bezel

from the glass. Once the edge is unsnapped go around the perimeter and unsnapping the tabs
at the top, right side and the bottom side. Put the bezel aside

Remove four screws

Using a Phillips screwdriver remove four screws holding the LCD panel in place. Two screws at the top
and two more screws at the bottom. Place the LCD on the keyboard

Disconnect the screen

Gently peel off the clear tape securing the video connector. Open the connector’s the connector’s
bracket and disconnect the video cable. Discard the old panel.
