For the replacement process we will need the following tools.
Tweezers
Plastic Pick
Shut down the laptop
To begin turn the laptop off and disconnect the power cord
Remove the bezel
Now we can remove the bezel. Start from the left side and go around the perimeter unsnapping
the tabs underneath. Put the bezel aside
Disconnect the video cable
Place the screen on the keyboard. Using plastic pick and fingers start peeling off the clear
tape from the video connector. Disconnect the video cable
Connect the new screen
Take the new LCD screen and place it on the keyboard. Using both hands reconnect the video cable.
Secure it with a clear tape. CAUTION! It is very important not to force any of the connectors.
As well you must not twist or slant the connector when plugging it in
Test the new screen
Now we can test the new screen. Lift the screen up and lean the screen on the back cover.
Turn the laptop on and if the start up graphics appear we can finish the replacement process
Reinstall the new screen using new adhesive strips
Your new display is likely to come with no adhesive. We offer standard double-sided
ape for such repairs on our site: https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/section/tools/
Use alcohol and a piece of cloth to clean the back side of the LCD and the inner side of
the back cover. Apply adhesive strips on the back of the new LCD. Lift the screen up
and apply some pressure to the display along its edges to catch the adhesive
Replace the bezel
Remove the protective film. Replace the bezel. Start from the bottom corners and then go
around the perimeter snapping the tabs back in place. Close the laptop and make sure that
all the tabs are snapped along the hinge cover.
Turn the laptop on. And we are done!
