Great replacement and saved me the money of having to pay someone else to do such a simple task. I just missed the small detail that it did not come with the screw bracket on this one particular screen. Not to worry thought because I had some double sided tape.

I cracked my screen at 6 am. Went on on google and find this site. It offers a replacement for a fairly recent laptop (late 2020) for a VERY reasonable price considering the other options. I got the new screen within a few days of ordering.  The metal piece for mounting in the corner was bent completely flat against the bezel when arrived but was easily put back in shape by needle nose plyers.  The screen replacement went easy and works amazing and I confirmed that the old screen was the problem.  Thank you guys you have an amazing service that saved my laptop that was out of warranty.  I can't imagine how much it would of cost to mail it in for repair.

Even if UPS delivered to the wrong address, order arrived early and I was able to replace my screen in minutes. The whole experience from ordering the correct part to installation was so easy, using the information on your web site to make the repair was much less painful than dealing with Dell Support. My only suggestion to other customers - If you don't have the tools you must order at least the basic tool kit. I couldn't have proceeded without the four tools in the kit.

The screen looks great, the quality is top notch and it cost me about $80 to fix what I thought was a new paperweight!

The screen came today, Dec. 5th. Immediately after breakfast I set about replacing the screen. I had seen somewhere that removing the battery was a good thing, so that came first. Unscrewed the back, carefully keeping the screws in the order they came out. Unscrewed the four screws holding the battery and removed the connector. No problem. Next the screen.

Off with the surround, unscrew the screen, flip up the little clip holding the connector, disconnect, connect new screen, flip down the hold-fast clip, screw in screen, pop the surround back on, replace battery, screw back back on, plug in the power cord, press the power switch and...wait anxiously for the dark screen to do something. After about 15 seconds - voila! - the Dell logo appeared! The PC asked me how I wanted to reboot to finalize the replacement. I chose to let the PC do it, and attachment 1 has now become attachment 2. YAY!

Thank you so much. Superfast shipping to the other side of the world and, even with the shipping cost included, you saved me about $182 US dollars compared to what Dell wanted for a new screen. I'm retired and on a fixed income so that is a significant saving. I REALLY wish I hadn't needed to do this in the first place, but these types of things are the story of my life.
