The CCFL bulb of my Dell e1405 loptop blew off. I took it to a couple of local repair shops and the quote was in the range of 200$. A quick search based on the screen part number landed me to laptopscreens.com. The price for the 'compatible' screen with shipping was roughly 80$ (what a deal !!!).

The low price and the 'compatible' word made me skeptical, but decided to still place the order. Delivery was quick, got my replacement screen in 3 days. I was pleased to find out that the screen they shipped was made by LG, which is reputed.

Replaced the screen in half an hour and now my laptop is back to working condition again.
