Just received the replacement LCD screen for Dell Inspiron 1420. I have to thank you for the useful videos and step by step instructions on replacing screens.
I carefully removed all the screws, bezel and connectors as shown in the videos and took my time for about 1/2 hr total.  The dis-assembly took longer because of not ever doing this before and trying not to lose screws or break anything important.  The new screen went in flawlessly in about 10 minutes or less and is working flawlessly.  Thank you, thank you.  Delivery time by regular UPS also.

TIP to do it yourself first timers like me:  Magnetize your small Phillips screw driver(s) by stroking several times with a magnet........will do miracles to keep those microscopic screws from flying away from you.  I found I needed a few different size screwdrivers when I encountered very tight screws on the side of the screen.
