For a replacement process we will need just a plastic pick

Shut down the laptop

To begin turn off the laptop and disconnect the power cord

Remove the bezel

Now we can remove the bezel. The bezel is held in place with tabs and a lines of glue a long the
inner edge. Insert a plastic pick between the bezel and the screen. Move the plastic pick along
the inner edge. Use other hand to unsnap the the bezel. Be careful around the web camera.
The bottom edge is especially heavily glued and requires some patience to get it released.
Place the bezel aside

Disconnect the video cable

Place the screen on the keyboard. Peel off the clear tape securing the video connector.
Using plastic pick open the connector’s bracket. Disconnect the video cable. Discard
the old screen

Connect the new screen

Place the new screen on the keyboard. Reconnect the video connector. Close the connector’s
bracket. Secure it with a clear tape. Make sure that cable states in its place

Test the new screen

Lift the screen up and fit it into the back cover. Test the screen. The screen is working and
we can finish the installation process

Replace the bezel

Go around the perimeter snapping the tabs back in place. Close the laptop and make sure
the bezel is snapped at the bottom edge. Turn the laptop on. And we are done!
