My son's Macbook Air display stopped working.  The local repair shop wanted $600 to repair it. I purchased a replacement LCD from Laptopscreen.com, watched a few youtube videos and was able to replace the LCD for less than $50 and a couple of hours of my time.  It is now ready to head back to school with my son.

The only difficult part was the backlight power connection.  Make sure that you lift the tab before trying to remove it and it takes a little playing with to reconnect it.  I found it easiest with the computer upside down.

Very fast shipping from Laptopscreen.com and an excellent product.  Thanks.
