United Airlines took my daughter's carry-on from her and dropped it on the tarmac from the door of a small commuter plane, shattering the screen on her laptop. Their response to our complaint was pretty much "It sucks to be you."

$64 and change covered the replacement AND shipping. The video wasn't an exact match, but plenty close enough to make this an easy half hour job.

I'd recommend anyone with a broken screen give this a try before you replace the computer!

I am not one to leave feedback but my experience with Laptop screens was great. I have never taken apart any part of a computer before. I tried it and from start to finish it took about 20mintues. I think my new screen may be better than the one that came originally in my laptop.

I found my netbook screen cracked upon my return from vacation. I found the screen that I needed and then watched the video, took apart my unit to make sure that I could do it correctly then I ordered a new screen here on Thursday and received the new one on Monday.
